The second night of 2014 UEFA World Cup qualifying took place on Tuesday with a number of interesting results yet again.
In London, England were held to a 1-1 draw by an impressive Ukraine outfit who took the lead through Evgeni Konoplianka before half-time. Frank Lampard managed to equalise with a late penalty to give the Three Lions a share of the points.
World Champions Spain were tested by Georgia in Tbilisi with Roberto Soldado scoring an 86th minute goal in the 1-0 win whilst Serbia crushed Wales 6-1 in Group A thanks to goals from Premier League stars Aleksandar Kolarov and Branislav Ivanovic.
Other notable scores included Italy's 2-0 home win over Malta, Germany's 2-1 victory in Austria and Holland's 4-1 domination of Hungary.
