Watford are pushing to land Liverpool striker Nathan Eccleston.
The Mirror says the 21-year-old, who has previously been loaned out to Huddersfield, Charlton and Rochdale, has been impressing for the Reds' reserves.
The Championship side have already made two Premier League loan signings this week.
Manchester United keeper Tomasz Kuszczak is on board for the rest of the season and Fulham's Italian striker Marcello Trotta has joined for a month.
