Watford are pondering making a short-term managerial appointment after the dismissal of Quique Sanchez Flores.
The Hornets are searching for their third manager of the season following Quique Sanchez Flores's dismissal on Sunday and are weighing up opting for a short-term appointment, says the Daily Mail.
If they are unable to get out of trouble, securing a manager until the end of the campaign will allow them to reassess in the summer and also avoid having the burden of a manager on a Premier League worthy contract while they are operating with a Championship budget.
Chris Hughton and Paul Clement have already been spoken to about the vacancy.
Meanwhile, Under-23 coach Hayden Mullins has been placed in temporary charge of the Hornets following Flores sacking. Watford travel to Leicester on Wednesday before hosting Crystal Palace on Saturday.
