New Schalke coach David Wagner has joined the race for Watford attacker Dodi Lukebakio.

The free-scoring midfielder has been outstanding on-loan with Fortuna Dusseldorf this season, where his form has attracted interest from across the Bundesliga.

BILD says Watford are prepared to sell and will seek €25m to cash in.

Wagner is a fan, though the Hornets' asking price may be too rich for S04 management.

Lukebakio, 21, is also on the radar of Borussia Monchengladbach.
