Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes remains angry over his treatment by Tottenham.

Gomes almost gave the game away after being blocked from leaving Spurs.

He recalled to ESPN Brasil: "That was disrespectful. Another club had certainly wanted me to join them.

"TSG Hoffenheim wanted to take me for instance, but the club insisted on an asking price of £5 million."

Gomes returns to the Premier League next season with the promoted Hornets.
