Watford are planning a summer move for Italian midfielder Daniele Dessena.

Reports in Italy suggest that the Hornets are preparing a bid for the Cagliari star as they look ahead to life in the Premier League.

Cagliari were relegated to Serie B ahead of next season prompting suggestions that Dessena, 28, could depart the Sardinian club to link up with Watford's Italian owner Gino Pozzo.
