Watford defender Craig Dawson admits his move from West Brom hasn't gone to plan.

Dawson put in a much-improved performance against Tottenham for Saturday's 1-1 draw.

"I have played in the Premier League before, so I know all about it," said Dawson.

"But obviously coming to Watford, it's a great squad, we've got very talented players so you can see the step up straight away. Obviously the start of the season hasn't gone to plan, but we're working very hard during the week as a team, as management and staff as well to put things right and that's what we're going to do.

"I think you could see that today. The performance was there, just unfortunately we didn't get the result we needed."
