Watford remain favourites to sign Le Havre midfielder Pape Gueye.

Gueye has long been linked with the Hornets, though it's emerged Olympique Marseille have made an attempt in recent days.

It's been claimed OM sports chief Andoni Zubizaretta has sounded out Gueye's minders.

But France Football says Watford have a watertight agreement with Gueye.

With his Le Havre deal expiring in June, the 21 year-old midfielder has signed a five-year pre-contract agreement with Watford.
