Watford and Bristol City are eyeing Wigan Athletic defender Chey Dunkley.
The Daily Mail says the 28-year old is fit again after suffering a double leg break in February. He utilised the lockdown period to undergo intensive rehabilitation and is targeting a return to action for the new season.
Dunkley is out of contract as Wigan fell into administration before they could finalise new terms for the 6ft 3ins defender.
Bristol City have maintained a watchful eye on his recovery as they consider making a move. The fact he is free makes him more appealing.
Watford have also shown an interest mindful they need to boost their homegrown quota in the Championship.
