Son of a gun Nico Gonzalez has signed a new contract with Barcelona.

The midfielder is the son of Deportivo La Coruna and former Manchester City coach Fran. The teen is regarded as a successor for Sergi Busquets.

Now 18, Nico has signed a contract to 2024 with Barca, which includes a €500m buyout clause. The midfielder has come right through the age groups at La Masia and is now training with Ronald Koeman's first team.
