Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was emotional as he announced his farewell at Thursday's media conference at Valdebebas.

Ramos spoke to the media after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez organised a farewell ceremony for the defender. The 35 year-old leaves the club after 16 years as a Real Madrid player.

The veteran will be allowed to come off contract at the end of the month. Ramos made 671 competitive appearances, scoring 101 goals and winning 22 titles with the club.
