Didier Drogba was named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 27 of the 2015 season.
The veteran striker scored three goals in two outings for Montreal Impact in a pair of sublime attacking performances for the Canadian outfit.
Chelsea legend Drogba scored in the 2-1 win over Chicago Fire last Wednesday before netting a match-winning brace in the 2-0 triumph over DC United on the weekend.
At the Saputo Stadium on Sunday, Drogba opened the scoring against DC with a delightful free-kick in the fourth minute before completely rinsing Steve Birnbaum with a celebes crossover before deftly chipping beyond Bill Hamid.
Drogue took his tally to seven goals in six MLS appearances for the Impact, sending them four points clear in sixth position on the Eastern Conference table, ahead of Orlando City, who they meet this weekend.
