Warnock wants Motherwell boss McCall at Palace

Motherwell boss Stuart McCall is a target for Crystal Palace.

The Sun says Neil Warnock wants McCall to become part of his backroom staff at Crystal Palace.

The news comes just days after it emerged Palace's board had instructed Warnock to identify his eventual successor. Former Everton midfielder McCall could move to Selhurst Park with the view to eventually succeeding Warnock in two years' time.

McCall has been in charge of Motherwell for four years. He was also assistant manager to Neil Warnock at Sheffield United for a short stint in 2007.
