Walters proud to have won back Stoke spot

Jon Walters is delighted to have fought his way back into Stoke City's first team.

At one point it seemed Walters might be leaving the club in this transfer window, having fallen behind Victor Moses, Marko Arnautovic and Mame Diouf in the pecking order.

"I've played out wide and hit a good bit of form, scoring a few goals, although not so much of late," he said.

"I've just been playing and just getting on with it.

"I'm enjoying it, although not so much on Sunday. You smile when you're winning and on a good run of results. If you're losing you're not smiling.

"We'll pick the bones out of it this week and try to get back to winning ways against Leicester."
