Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters had no complaints handing spotkick duties to Charlie Adam for their draw with Swansea City.
He says he would have been happy to take the late penalty if Adam had not been desperate to take it himself.
He said: "It went straight through the keeper, but it showed great nerves from Charlie to sink the penalty.
"I would have been more than happy to take it, but Charlie wanted it. He was on set pieces so I was happy to let him take it."
