Walters confident Stoke can press on until end of season

Stoke City are capable of performing well right up until the end of the campaign according to Jon Walters.

The Potters have amassed a total of 47 matches this season courtesy of their involvement in the Europa League but are still in with a chance of recording their best-ever league finish and points total.

With eight matches remaining, Walters is sure the players can get enough out of themselves to keep putting in solid performances until the last fixture of the campaign.

"Everyone seems to be fresh and we are looking forward to the run-in," he told The Sentinel.

"People are asking if we are tired because we have had a hell of a lot of games up to now. But there aren't many three-game weeks left.

"We finished a three-game week by playing Manchester City, but in the 90th minute the lads were still bombing on as well as defending. We were right at it."
