Walsall's Moore has no Melbourne Victory regrets

"I went over there for a few days just to have a look at things," he revealed to the Sunday Mercury. "It was a good club.

"I enjoyed my time over there but things didn't really work out so I came back here.

"I was seriously thinking about moving there, but I've still got things I want to achieve in England.

"If you go you're going more for the lifestyle and not for football.

"It was a great city and the football standard was very good. People are technically very good but it's just a completely different style of football.

"I think the heat contributes to that and it's a lot slower.

"I'm glad I went over and saw what they had to offer, but now I'm back here hopefully I can push on and push Walsall back up the table."

Upon his return to England, Moore was snapped up by Walsall boss Richard Money, who now has the Saddlers set for back-to-back promotions since leaving Newcastle Jets.
