Walker planning on halting Hazard as Tottenham prepare for Chelsea

Tottenham defender Kyle Walker is thinking about how he is going to stop the dazzling Eden Hazard on Thursday.

The Spurs right-back is well aware of the talents of the Belgian winger who has seven Premier League goals and four assists this season and knows he will have a hard day cut out for him at White Hart Lane on New Year's Day.

"From when I last played him he's now even more of a tricky opponent," the England international told the club's official website.

"He's confident at the moment so I'm going to have to be on my game and try to run him the other way.

"I need to make him try to defend which he probably doesn't want to do and hopefully I can pin him back."

23-year old Hazard has been in sparkling form of late with five goals in his past 10 league appearances and is a constant threat to any opposition defence with his bursting runs down the wings and ability to find teammates with pinpoint accuracy.
