Walker in line for first Tottenham start in nine months

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that Kyle Walker could start on Thursday night.

Spurs take on Besiktas in Istanbul in their final Group C fixture which will decide who finished on top of the standings with the Turkish side two points in arrears of the north Londoners.

24-year old right-back Walker has not played since March because of a pelvic injury but could get some game time in Europe according to his boss.

"You know Kyle is back," Pochettino said.

"Now we need to decide after this training if he is in the starting XI or maybe on the bench."
