Wales international George Williams has expressed his pride on his former MK Dons teammate Dele Alli's rise to fame at Tottenham.

Both players spent their formative years playing together in the MK youth academy and could now face each other in the upcoming Euro2016 when the Dragons take on England in Lens on June 16.

"I'm so proud of him," Fulham winger Williams told The Telegraph.

"He's worked so hard to get where he is now. He can do things with the ball that normal people can't, and the way he thinks on the pitch is unbelievable. His work ethic's unbelievable.

"He's only going to get better. But I could tell from when I first saw him that he was special."
