Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale could be set for a return to action in November.
Little has been shared by Real Madrid about their forward's injury, with the club keen to protect his privacy after a litany of setbacks over the years.
But Wales coach Rob Page has shed some light on when he expects Bale to be back fit.
"We've been in contact with [Bale] and our medical team to see how the injury is going," he said.
"Hamstring injuries go on a scale of one to four, and he is closer to four.
"It's a significant injury and so the upcoming international window will come too soon for him, unfortunately.
"But fortunately he is recovering better than expected and we are fairly sure he will be back in November."
