Walcott to be cut loose by Southampton

Southampton veteran Theo Walcott is set to leave the club at the end of his contract.

The 34-year-old has been impressive for manager Ruben Selles in recent months.

However, the Saints are near certainty for relegation and will be revamping their squad in the summer.

Per talkSPORT, Walcott will not be offered a renewal and can move on to a new team.

Walcott has played every single Premier League game under Selles, scoring two goals.

The veteran came through the youth academy at the club, but left for Arsenal in 2006.
