Theo Walcott was delighted with Southampton's performance in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal.

Saints almost walked away with all three points from the Emirates but were unable to find a winner against the 10-men Gunners.

The result moves Ralph Hasenhuttl's side into fourth after Leicester lost to Everton on Wednesday.

And Walcott says trust and honesty are enormous reasons why Southampton are flying this season.

The former Arsenal winger said: "We were fantastic, did everything we wanted to do in the game Arsenal are in a difficult time but in the end it is disappointing to take a point. It shows how far this club has come.

"We just wanted to concentrate on our strengths, we know how good we are as a unit - we have so much trust and are so honest with each other."
