Wagner inspired Ince to make Huddersfield move

Tom Ince has revealed how Huddersfield's style of football inspired him to join the club.

Terriers boss David Wagner 'gegenpressing' tactics helped led the Yorkshire to their first promotion to England's top flight in 45 years.

For Ince - who moved to Town from Derby last week - the opportunity to play under Wagner was too good to refuse.

"When we played against Huddersfield last year, for me, home and away, the way they played with the extra detail that you can see the manager instils in the players to do the jobs and to attack, and it is not something you see very often in the Championship," Ince told Sky Sports News HQ.

"When you get that opportunity from a manager who feels that you can bring something to the team, he wants to improve me as a player, I want to improve myself as a player."
