Vorm: Swansea needed Fulham win

Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm admits victory at Fulham was crucial.

Swansea should be buoyed by their Craven Cottage victory which moved them into the mid-table of the Premier League and ended a run of five games without a win, albeit four of them were drawn.

"It was a very important win for us - we needed the points," conceded Vorm.

"We showed what we are capable are. They had two big chances in the first half, but in the end with the way we played it was very good.

"The manager told us at half-time to stay focused and concentrated and not give stupid goals away.

"We needed to keep them under pressure and we kept going even after they scored. That was very positive, so was the team performance."
