Vitor Roque is enjoying his first day with Barcelona.

The signing from Athletico Paranaense touched down in the city this morning and immediately was taken to Barca for a first medical. He also visited the locker room.

Roque is due to take part in his first training session on Thursday.

He told the club's website: "I am very happy with everything that has happened in my life. It is a dream that I have come true now. I think I'll try to learn as much as possible with the whole group and enjoy it. I always want the ball all the time and I will try to learn as much as possible. Score goals too!

"It was always a dream as a child, not only mine but also my family's. They are also here fulfilling this dream.

"I want to help the club as much as possible."
