Former Fenerbahce coach Vitor Pereira says Arda Guler is destined for greatness with Real Madrid.

Guler could make his Real debut tonight against Champions League opponents SC Braga.

Pereira recalled to Marca: "When I arrive at a club I like to meet its young talents and, as a general rule, I ask them to come train with the first team. I remember they told me about a 16-year-old boy who had a baby's face.

"But he arrived and immediately earned everyone's respect for his quality. They quickly realized that, if they gave the ball to Arda, something different would happen.

"Arda is special and at 16 years old he was already very special. In every training session he looked at you as if he were saying: 'I just need someone to give me a chance'.

"It may take more or less, I don't know how long because I'm not a futurist, but he's going to mark an era at Real Madrid. The quality and personality that he has are going to make him become an important player worldwide."
