Vitesse Arnhem have jumped into the battle for Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard.
The Norway international is again leaving Real this month, with a loan move the most likely arrangement.
A return to Heerenveen had been mooted for Odegaard, but Der Gelderlander says Vitesse have now approached Real about a deal for the midfielder.
Despite his struggles, Odegaard isn't short of admirers, with Championship pair Derby County and Aston Villa also keen.
At Vitesse, they see Odegaard as a replacement for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, who is now on-loan at Derby. Vitesse boast a partnership with English giants Chelsea.
