Vissel Kobe are eyeing Manchester City midfielder David Silva.

The veteran midfielder, 33, has another year left on his contract at the Etihad -and is still very much part of Pep Guardiola's plans.

But Kobe - who also have Silva's former Valencia team-mate David Villa on their books - are prepared to make a lucrative offer, says The Sun.

They are keen to make another big name signing with the team currently struggling in the J-League.

Silva has been at the Eithad since 2010 and has been influential in City's push for trophies again this year.
