Villas-Boas seeks to shake-up Tottenham scouting staff

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has moved to shake up his scouting team.

Ian Broomfield has agreed to leave by mutual consent.

Harry Redknapp brought Broomfield from Portsmouth and he helped bring in stars like Friedel, midfielder Sandro, now Brazil's captain, Rafael van der Vaart, Kyle Walker and Younes Kaboul.

Broomfield helped co-ordinate the signings of Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele and Clint Dempsey last month, but was disappointed the club failed to land midfielder Oscar, who joined Chelsea instead .

The People says Tottenham's scouts were called to the training ground for a meeting on Friday, as AVB attempts to re-organise behind the scenes.
