Aston Villa captain Gareth Barry will be awarded a testimonial - at the age of just 26.

The England midfielder, a £15million target for Chelsea and Tottenham, made his Villa debut at 17 in 1998.

Boss Martin O'Neill said: "It's rare to see players stay at one club for so long these days."
