Villarreal managing director Jose Manuel Llaneza has welcomed the signing of seven youth teamers from River Plate.

The Yellow Submarines have taken the seven youngsters in co-ownership with River and Llaneza explained: "We cannot pay for players when they are great and become famous." Matias Abelairas, Gustavo Bou, Gustavo Cabral, Gaston Gauna, Damian Lizio, Maximiliano Olivia and Andres Rios are the River youth teamers now moving to Villarreal.
