Villarreal have signed AS Roma fullback Cicinho.
The Brazilian arrives at Villarreal on loan until the end of the season and will be presented at their El Madrigal stadium today.
It is a return to La Liga for Cicinho, who has also played for Real Madrid, while he and Giuseppe Rossi will face Napoli in the Europa League next month.
Villarreal, who this week lost right-back Angel Lopez for six months to a cruciate knee ligament injury, have the option to buy former Real Madrid defender Cicinho when his current deal ends.
