Villarreal players Raul Albiol and Etienne Capoue were happy after their 1-1 draw with Champions League opponents Juventus.
In the first-leg of their round 16 tie, Juve's Dusan Vlahovic opened the scoring at La Ceramica within 32 seconds of his debut in the tournament, but Dani Parejo equalised after an Adrien Rabiot error.
Captain Albiol said, "It didn't start as we wanted but we were able to bounce back and were very good in the second half and got the goal we sought.
"If you want to play against the best in Europe, this is what you have to do: never give up and get back up if they land a blow. That's what the side did and it's all to play for in Turin."
Capoue also stated: "It's a bit of frustration as we need to win these games at home, but we played a good game.
"It's really tough to score against a side like Juventus but we did that and we believe we can go through. It'll be tough but we can do it."
