Villarreal have joined the race for want-away Rubin Kazan striker Alejandro Dominguez.
The 28 year-old Argentine has declared he plans to leave Rubin when his deal expires at the end of this year.
Dominguez is keen on moving to Spain, where Villarreal have joined the battle for his signature with Real Zaragoza and Espanyol.
