Villarreal coach Unai Emery is wary visiting Levante today.

The Basque head coach underlined the importance of managing the group well in the closing stages of the season, the match against Levante and the support from the fans.

He said, “You have more time to prepare for the match, but at the same time, you don't have the whole group. The collective message was launched today. Everyone has different mental circumstances, and we have to get them focused again. The group who were here are the most focused. Today, we had a collective chat to get focused again, to see what we want, and what we need.

“Tomorrow, it's a great game. I can't wait for it to come to see how we play, and if we're clinical. We want to be a team who play with a lot of personality, and to be capable of resisting Levante. They have a good team, and they made good signings like Mustafi and Martín Cáceres. They also have good footballers like Roger and Morales. They're a team that I like and I respect Levante a lot."

He added, “Having the fans alongside the team always helps because players feel the support. I like the fans to come, I also have some responsibility for them to feel proud of us, in terms of how we play and the attitude we show on the pitch. I'm very thankful for the fans for travelling. They also send us a message that they want to live these key moments with Villarreal, not only the Champions League tie, but also in LaLiga too."
