Aston Villa winger Stewart Downing admits a halftime blast from manager Martin O'Neill inspired their victory over Burnley.
Downing admits it needed 'one hell of a kick up the backside' to spur them to a 5-2 win over Burnley.
He said: "The manager wasn't very happy and it took a gee-up from him to get us going at the half-time - he gave us a right kick up the backside."
Downing, 25, added: "It worked wonders because we looked a different team and played some great football. So it was one hell of a kick up the backside!"
