Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton was delighted with a winning debut for loan club Wigan Athletic.
Albrighton came off the bench to help the Latics to victory over Huddersfield Town.
"Paul Lambert sent me here and I'm hoping I can take my chance and prove that I'm good enough to get back in the team at Villa," he said.
"Hopefully I can prove a point to Aston Villa and to myself."
