Aston Villa will make a move for FC Nuremberg attacking midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake once they wield the axe.
Villa boss Paul Lambert is keen to lure the 23-year old Japan international to the West Midlands but must first get rid of a number of players who do not fit in his plans.
The Mirror suggests the likes of Barry Bannan, Darren Bent, Alan Hutton and Stephen Ireland could all be offloaded this summer which would then allow Villa room to go after Kiyotake.
