Aston Villa striker Andi Weimann has hailed the impact made by Christian Benteke this season.

Both Villans were on the scoresheet in victory at Liverpool.

Weimann remarked: "It is great to play with someone like Christian. He wins the ball and holds it up and is scoring goals as well. In the last few weeks he has been outstanding. He is such a physical presence and I am sure if he continues he will be a tough player to face. I hope we can continue to forge a partnership. I want to stay in the team and I feel we've worked well in the past few games."
