Aston Villa signing Grant Holt has no problem with critics taking aim.
The 31-year-old is more concerned with making his critics eat their words than his own eating habits.
"Everyone has the presumption that I'm massive but when people meet me they realise I'm not as big as they think," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"If you can't make fun of yourself, who can you make fun of?
''I'm as thick-skinned as anyone. If someone wants to give me abuse or have a joke, I'm easy either way.
"It's important not to take things too seriously. If people want to have a dig, but they do it in the right manner, that's fine by me.
"No matter what happens, whenever I put the shirt on I will be doing my best."
