Aston Villa striker Darren Bent insists he doesn't regret his time at Tottenham.
Bent had a difficult time at Spurs before being sold to Sunderland.
He said: "I didn't really play but I still take good memories from there and it made me grow up as a person and a player.
"Looking back on it, a lot of people say 'you had Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe and Dimitar Berbatov in the squad, did you ever expect to play?
"Then I went to Sunderland and Villa and it's gone really well.
"It's behind me I've not even thought about it. If he gets the England job good luck to him and Sam Allardyce too if he does.
"I wish Harry all the best after his heart operation. We had the same problem with Gerard Houllier. IT was a real shame but you have to be hundred per cent right off the pitch first."
