Aston Villa moved up to third place in the Premiership with their first Premier League win at Manchester United. Gabriel Agbonlahor scored the winner midway through the first half, heading in from Ashley Young's cross.

And whilst Wayne Rooney's shot smashed against the underside of the bar, Ryan Giggs went close and Nemanja Vidic had a header cleared off the line it was Brad Friedel in the visitor's goal who ensured the visitor's memorable win.
