Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Michael Bradley is not on his way to Italian outfit AS Roma says his agent.
The USA international is currently on loan with Aston Villa but reports suggest that Roma are showing considerable interest about a summer move.
But Bradley's representative, Alberto Faccini, says that the 23-year old is only being linked with the Giallorossi because the new owners are from the US.
"There is not much truth to these rumours and I think this approach is linked to the fact that the new owners are American," Faccini told tuttomercatoweb.
"Of course he is an interesting player, who has been around for years on the European circuit.
"I have not spoken with (Roma's new sporting director, Walter) Sabatini.
"He's a midfielder who can occupy almost all roles. I consider him similar to De Rossi with the proper proportions.
"The move to Aston Villa has not been the right choice because he is often on the bench, but he's a young boy with many appearances in the national team.
"Bradley to Roma would be a nice idea, I think he could do well in the Italian championship."
