Craig Levein has named his Scotland squad to take on Cyprus in Larnaca next week and has included Huddersfield Town youngster Jordan Rhodes for the first team.
The 21-year old has scored 11 goals in League One so far this season and his performances have been rewarded with a first senior call-up after netting five times in as many appearances for the U21s.
Joining him in the squad are QPR's Jamie Mackie, who is back from a broken leg, and in-form Norwich City defender Russell Martin who have both been recalled.
Dropping out of the roster is Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan who is still under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of drink-driving whilst Rangers star Steven Naismith will be sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee injury and Celtic skipper Scott Brown is still out with an ankle problem.
