Bolton Wanderers captain Jay Spearing is on the radar of Premier League clubs.
The former Liverpool midfielder is attracting interest from Aston Villa and QPR ahead of the transfer deadline, says the Daily Star Sunday.
Spearing was only named Bolton club captain this season by manager Dougie Freedman.
The Scouser, 25, is entering his third season with the Trotters.
