Aston Villa prospect Damian Bellon has signed for FC Vaduz after training at the club, with the deal being hailed as a coup in Liechtenstein.
"Yes, I have signed for two years," he told Liechtensteiner Vaterland. "For me, it was already clear from the outset that I would go to Vaduz.
"I was not really on trial. It just took a slightly longer time until the contract could be signed."
Bellon joined Villa from St Gallen along with his brother Yago.
"It was a great risk to move to England," he admitted. "We were still very young.
"The competition as a foreigner in a club like Aston Villa is huge. Now, I will be 19 in August and I would like to play.
"Therefore, I am pleased with the move to FC Vaduz."
