Aston Villa are set to offer Charles N'Zogbia to Montpellier in a swap for Olivier Giroud.
The Daily Star says N'Zogbia looks to be on borrowed time at Aston Villa after his latest attack on boss Alex McLeish.
Villa will now consider offloading the winger as part of their package to tempt Montpellier to part with striker Giroud.
McLeish sent scouts to check on the £15m-rated hitman in Montpellier's 1-0 defeat by Nancy.
