Villa needed Guzan heroics: First cleansheet in 26!

Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan's heroics at Norwich City kept a cleansheet for the first time in over half a season.

Guzan couldn't remember the last time he had kept a clean sheet. No wonder, it was 26 matches prior to Aston Villa's win against Norwich on Saturday.

"Last year was a battle for us and the most important thing was staying up," he said. "It speaks volumes about what this league is all about. Whether you're playing a top four team or a team toward the bottom, it's always difficult to go 90 minutes and keep teams at bay. I'm not going to lie to you and say it's not nice to keep a clean sheet but that's not the most important thing - the most important thing is we get three points and win the game."
