Aston Villa must cough up a fee for former Norwich City goalkeeper Jed Steer.

Villa have been told by the Professional Compensation Committee to pay Norwich up to £1.75m for 21-year-old goalkeeper Steer.

Steer, a former England Under 19 international, has yet to make a Premier League appearance since joining Villa from the Canaries last summer.
